Every sponsored book is intended to spark meaningful conversations about resilience, healing, and connection…to self, to community, and to the outdoors. AND THAT HAPPENED!
We are in the planning stages of Phase III, so we may continue this adventure and distribute the remaining 356 books (we had 612 sponsored!!!) plus the additional 388 we are hoping to source, to make it an even 1,000!

Contributing sponsorship funds ensures every donated book is properly tracked, recognized according to your preference, and delivered where it can have the greatest impact.

The Sondering Starfish, LLC will honor the preferences you indicate on your sponsorship form to the fullest extent possible. If an anonymous donation is chosen, the bookplate will read, “Donated By the Starfish Squad.”

We Purchase, Prepare, and Deliver the Books
Once sponsorship funds are received, The Sondering Starfish, LLC purchases the sponsored books and coordinates delivery to organizations serving veterans and first responders.
For this initiative, please do not purchase books directly through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Ingram, this website, or any other retailer. Instead, please make a financial contribution which will be used to purchase and distribute the book(s).
